Remote QA & Release Management Lead

At SpotMe we are looking for an IT engineer! Our tech stack: QA Testing, Android, iOS.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a QA engineer for a product development company with a SaaS track record and end user-oriented applications on iOS, Android, and web platforms
• Experience in managing and scaling a multi-disciplined QA team
• Excellent knowledge of software lifecycle and release management
• UI test automation experience, both on the web and mobile is a strong asset.
• Demonstrated experience in testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Mission

Lead and grow a team of QA testers and automation engineers responsible for testing and quality of the entire platform, including SpotMe Backstage CMS, end user-facing mobile and web apps, and overall SaaS platform performance with thousands of concurrent users.

Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to plan and schedule product releases.

Introduce and enhance testing processes to improve platform and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage and build a team of manual and test automation QA testers.
• Define and own SpotMe’s quality and release management standards, ensuring they are met for each release.
• Own the release management process and ensure QA standards and requirements are met.
• Collaborate with product and engineering for testing and release planning aligned with sprint plans and roadmap.
• Continually improve QA processes to enhance stability and quality of product releases delivered to 2M+ users annually.
• Use data to identify product areas needing more testing or specific test cycles.
• Demonstrate creativity and initiative to improve test coverage and methodologies.
